Applies to: Musaic Player (com.musaic.mp), published by Solder3t.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Musaic Player ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should uninstall the App.

2. Description of Service

Musaic Player is a free, local-first music player for Android. It scans audio files stored on your device and provides playback, library management, smart playlists, and related features. The App optionally connects to the internet to fetch song lyrics when the user explicitly enables the Online Lyrics feature.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the legality of any audio files stored on your device.
You must grant the required permissions for the App to function (audio file access).
You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App beyond what is permitted by applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and branding are the property of Solder3t. Audio files on your device remain your property and are not claimed by us.

4.1 User Content

Your local library metadata, playlists, favorites, listening history, and smart playlists are stored on your device and controlled by you. Solder3t does not claim ownership over that data.

5. Third-Party Services

When Online Lyrics is enabled, the App communicates with third-party lyrics providers. When AI Romanization is enabled, the App communicates with user-selected AI services, which may include Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), DeepSeek, Groq, or a self-hosted Ollama instance.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party services.
Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
You are responsible for compliance with each AI provider's API usage terms, including rate limits and acceptable use policies.
API keys are stored locally on your device. Solder3t does not collect or have access to your API keys.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Solder3t does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solder3t shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including but not limited to data loss or device malfunction.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be published at this URL with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws in the developer's jurisdiction.
